C was a little sad about not being able to eat the candy he was getting from Trick-or-Treating since he has Food Allergies and most of the candies have 3 or 4 of his allergens. He told me, "It's hard having food allergies...". I replied, "Yes, it's not fun because you don't get to enjoy the candies, cookies and cakes that everyone else can have. It's hard isn't it?" He nodded, then he added, "well, I think all those other kids are going to get diabetes from eating all that sugar!" I laughed and said, "You are absolutely right!"
