Summertime Cherry Picking

Now, THIS is what you call "Cherry Jubilee"!!! C looks giddy with all you can eat cherries!
We picked a good 9 lbs of cherries when were were there. Unlike my memories of cherry picking in my childhood, all these trees are dwarf or semi-dwarf, and you don't have to climb ladders. The farmer said that back in the days the cherry farmers got sued out of business for ladder liabilities.
Some of the branches were LOADED with cherries!
Lunchtime after we picked all we wanted, yummy fried rice!

C's Philosophical thoughts

When he was around 5, C asked, "Why are people here on earth?"

Just recently, he asked; "Why does time move?"

And today, he was telling his Daddy, "In 43-1/2 years I'll be 50. I think I'll be living with my wife in this house after you and Mommy pass away." Daddy asked, "What if you aren't living here at this house? What if we haven't passed away yet?" and C answered, "We can live where we are at that time, and we'll live with you guys too."  Then he added, "and I'm going to name my son, "C" too! (actual name omitted for privacy)

C's brain fart

While having his hair dried after bath-time, C told Daddy, "You need 6,000 "1/100 seconds" to make one minute".  I just wonder what goes on in his brain sometimes to be crunching these numbers in his head.

Lately, he's enjoying books about Astronomy. He's looking at charts about planets, how many moons each planet has, how large they are, how hot/cold they are.
