Synesthesia?

C and I were walking home from the bus stop and he hung onto my arm as I held the umbrella to keep the blazing sun from scorching our heads.  I asked him not to hold my arm since it was soooo hot and I was oozing sweat and his warm hand was making it worse.  He replies, "I like to hear your sweat rushing out of you." I was like, "Huh?" How do you hear sweat oozing out?
