Trial 2nd Grade

After a few weeks of not getting through, I finally received "C"s IQ test report. I copied it and handed a copy to the Principal and C's Teacher. The Principal approved my request to have "C" placed in 2nd Grade for a short time to assess how he will fare in 2nd Grade. C was very excited this morning when his 1st Grade Teacher handed me some documents, then told me, "Would you like to walk him to the 2nd Grade Class?" His face lit up like a 100 Christmas lights. Right before we opened the door to his 2nd Grade Classroom, I asked him what he thought. He very enthusiastically replied, "I'm excited about going to 2nd Grade!!" I told him to do his very best, and that after 2 weeks, the Student Study Team will assess his progress. If he does well, he will make the switch to 2nd. My only concern is, that all the other children are BIG compared to him. He's so tiny. I hope he will have a better time making friends. Wish him luck!
