Kindergarten Prep aka Vaccinations

We debated over whether or not we should continue giving C his vaccinations. We ended up doing it, but I do regret it now. C took all 5 shots and a finger prick bravely, just a whimper. He was fine the first day.... then he started getting very itchy and rashy then next day. On the third day, he started out fine, then he ate his breakfast, then started throwing up! His lower lip started swelling and we just couldn't figure out what caused it! We took him to the ER, then realized he had stablized even as I filled in the sign-in papers. Good thing too, because the Hospital had no receptionist accepting the new forms, it was packed too. We just prayed for him and sang Praise songs and watched him in the car for about 20 mins, then drove home. Later that day, we went to see our Nutritionist, and he checked out all the foods that C had eaten that way with Muscle Testing to see if any of it was an allergen to him. All the foods were fine. Then the Dr. started testing heavy metals on him. He had dozens of viles with different metals in each vile. He tested them all and discovered it was Mercury poisening that caused the mess C was in. He told us that the vaccines contain small amounts of Mercury in them as preservatives! Can you believe that?!?! I've heard kids becoming Austistic from vaccines, and that makes sense now. I'm thankful to the Lord for C not reacting more severely. Never again am I going to have C go through that again! (He's due for another round of shots when he's 11, but I won't allow it)

After much thought and prayer, we decided to enroll C in public school. We've thought about keeping him in Private School and even Homeschooling, but in the end we decided that we as Christians need to be the salt of the earth. And if we shelter our children too much, then would be too shocked when they enter the real world once they reach High School or College. Yes, C will encounter experiences that won't be dealt with in private school or esp homeschool, but these are educational opportunities in our opinion as well. We will of course teach him Biblical priciples at home and pray that he will make the right choices in his daily decisions and selection of friends. He being an only child was one of the reasons we decided not to homeschool him, as he thrives off of companionship of other children.

Oh man! As far as teh vaccines, the Mercury (thimerisol) has been stopped being put in them because of their toxicity. However, they did not require dr's/drug companies to pull the already existing ones from their shelves. So anyone wo plans to vaccinate really needs to ask to see the box and so make sure it's thimerisol free.
Also, vaccines contain many ingredients and I know egg is in some. I know Caleb has many allergies so maybe a partial reaction was to a food allergy he has. you could always google for ingredients in the particular ones he had.
Regarding Caleb in public school, he is SO smart and ahead in so many areas that you sould stay active in the school with him to make sure his eagerness to learn isn't squelched to keep him at the same pace as the other kids. I just can't get over how brilliant he is! if only they did AP classes for elementary kids. lol
